American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk said that any government that destroys its own people is illegitimate.
“Any government that destroys its own people is illegitimate“, Musk wrote on the social network X.
Meanwhile, the planned tenth test flight of the "Starship" rocket of "SpaceX" was postponed again last night, shortly before its launch, due to adverse weather conditions, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
"We are canceling today's test flight due to (adverse) weather conditions", the company led by Elon Musk said on the social network "X", adding that the team is exploring the next best launch opportunity.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, the flight has already been postponed by a day to fix a problem with ground systems.
"Starship" - the largest rocket ever built - was supposed to take off from the company's spaceport in the US state of Texas for a test flight lasting about an hour.
The rocket is taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York, DPA notes. It consists of two parts that separate after launch: a roughly 70-meter booster and a 50-meter-long upper section.
The system is designed so that both the spacecraft and the booster can be reused after returning to Earth.
The US space agency NASA hopes to use "Starship" to send astronauts to the Moon, while Musk's stated goal is to take humans to Mars.
The system was first tested in April 2023, when it exploded after a few minutes. Later tests showed that the upper section could reach space and make a controlled landing in the Indian Ocean. However, several recent test flights have not lived up to expectations.
