Sick and wounded Palestinians in need of medical care have not been able to leave the Gaza Strip for treatment since March this year, when the ceasefire agreement in the enclave, which had been in effect since January, was violated.
This was reported to a TASS correspondent by Khaled Mughawi, governor of the Egyptian province of North Sinai.
„We have not been able to evacuate anyone from Gaza who needed treatment since the ceasefire was violated“, he said.
When asked about the possible resumption of the evacuation of the wounded from the enclave in the near future, the governor answered negatively.
