The Armed Forces of Ukraine have regained over 26 sq. km. of Ukrainian land

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are celebrating successes in several directions of the front. In Pokrovskoye and Dobropilskoye they managed to regain a significant part of the front. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky in his Telegram channel.

"I worked in the areas where active combat operations are taking place – in Pokrovskoye, Dobropilskoye and Seiverskoye. I inspected the command posts of the units that perform combat missions in these sectors of the front. The Pokrovskoye sector remains one of the most difficult. Over the past week, our units have repelled about 350 enemy attacks,“ notes Sirsky.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that the Russian troops have concentrated their main efforts precisely in the Pokrovskoye direction, creating the largest offensive group. “Nevertheless, the Defense Forces have regained control over 26 sq. km of Ukrainian land, having lost 5 sq. km in August. Such a ratio in favor of Ukraine was also registered in the Dobropilskoye direction“.

“I listened to the reports of the commanders on the ground, in particular on issues that require an immediate solution. I gave the necessary orders to strengthen the resilience of the defense. We are providing the units with additional ammunition and drones, strengthening electronic warfare and fortifications,“ adds Sirsky.
