The 1 and a half year old child who was shot in the head and transported by helicopter from Vratsa, was operated on in "Pirogov", the hospital announced.
During the intervention, Prof. N. Gabrovski's team removed the projectile from the brain, BNT specified.
The child's condition is currently stabilized. He continues to be placed for treatment and active monitoring in the pediatric intensive care unit of the Pirogov University Hospital.
