Babikyan: Borisov is ready to go to the elections while Peevski has not yet gained the power he hopes for

According to the PR expert in the scandal between Asen Vassilev and Delyan Peevski before the National Assembly, "the one who had less vulgar language certainly won": "For me, there is no way Peevski is the winner. The level of conversation was at the level of a village pub, where they probably talk more politely."

DPS-NN has taken a bite out of GERB and the process may turn out to be electorally unpleasant for GERB. I said this on election night and my comment was met with embarrassment, said PR expert Arman Babikyan, a former MP from "We Are Coming", in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

In the program "Something More" he commented on today's scandal between Asen Vassilev from PP-DB and the leader of MRF-NN Delyan Peevski in front of one of the blocked entrances to the National Assembly, as well as Peevski's influence in the state and on the ruling majority.

"The position Peevski is in forces him to behave this way. He has no other means of legitimization. And it can only be proven through Bulgaria's pro-Western course, in order to force those parties that sent him to the "Magnitsky" list to talk to him, because they need someone to talk to, someone on whom the events in the country depend," said Babikyan.

According to him, in the scandal between Asen Vassilev and Delyan Peevski before the National Assembly, "the one who had less vulgar language certainly won":

"For me, there is no way that Peevski is the winner. The level of conversation was at the level of a village pub, where they probably talk more politely."

Regarding today's PP-DB protest with the blocking of entrances to the National Assembly, the PR expert pointed out that they did not notice that organizing a protest requires more skills and solid arguments.

"But their attempt to diversify the method of protest shows that there is demand at least on their part. And a person with a level of communication like Peevski's will never be elected to lead the state, that is at least certain. Yes, Peevski is a factor. But even during Borisov's third government, during the patriots' quota, he had installed his own ministers and was an unavoidable factor. But coming to power through the official entrance of the state by a person who is engaged in sexual vulgar innuendos simply cannot happen," Arman Babikyan is convinced.

According to him, Borisov seems more desperate and has stated that he will not vote in the vote, "which is a clear sign that he is ready to go to the elections, because he has a majority":

"He is ready to go to the elections while Peevski has not yet gained the power he hopes for. Borisov is in a weak position, as Peevski is exploiting him completely, but he knows when to throw his cards on the table."
