A 68-year-old man was injured after a jeep crashed on the I-5 road (Kazanlak-Stara Zagora).
The accident occurred today at 09.46 in the area of the road junction near the village of Yagoda, in the direction of Stara Zagora, the police announced.
According to initial information, the car driven by the 68-year-old man turned off the roadway.
The driver is receiving medical assistance. A test for alcohol consumption was performed, and the sample returned a negative result.
A police team is on site to clarify the causes of the accident. Traffic in the area of the incident is not disrupted.
A probable cause of the accident is speed that is not in line with the wet road surface.
