Martin Dimitrov on the budget: The rulers are going to war with business and the middle class

We must not allow price increases, we need a national plan, not the chaos we are currently seeing, he also emphasized

There is no national action plan. Zhecho Stankov came for a short procedure in the National Assembly and was not convincing. Assistance and coordination from the EU must be requested for what is happening with "Lukoil". This must be done urgently by the government. This particular governor must have managed a large company and achieved success in order to be able to cope. As soon as it is established what is missing - the state reserve with fuels must be immediately replenished. We have serious objections and that is why we are not participating in the national plan. This was stated by Martin Dimitrov to journalists on the sidelines of the National Assembly.

We must not allow price increases, we need a national plan, not the chaos we are currently seeing, he also emphasized.

As for the budget, he said that the assessment of business is very negative and their assessment is also the same. "I don't know what these people are doing, but we will enter a debt spiral, they have gone to war with the middle class and to war with business. The government is violating a 25-year public consensus, they are blowing up public finances. There is a mania for borrowing and spending and this is what brings those in power together," Dimitrov also said.

"Bulgaria has not yet built its democracy. When we talk about the budget - not all parties stand up for debate", said Ivaylo Mirchev.

Ivaylo Mirchev believes that the first two weeks of imposing sanctions against "Lukoil" were slept through by Bulgaria and the government has not yet provided an action plan.

"Yes, Bulgaria" believes that "Lukoil" gas stations are not such a percentage, and the big problem in Bulgaria is whether the refinery warehouses, where the fuels are, are working.

"Yes, Bulgaria" announced that they do not want to cause panic, but they are obliged to share their concerns.

"The only thing that is important today, if there are responsible political forces - what happens to prices for people on November 22. "This is the only important issue, to prevent panic and for the state to guarantee calm and for the market to be at normal prices," Mirchev added.
