Over 400 teachers will participate in trainings on socio-emotional support

The courses are led by university professors

Trainings on programs for socio-emotional support of students and teachers in times of crisis, development of students' financial and economic literacy, and modern methods for career guidance begin at the National Center for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Specialists.

Nearly 400 teachers from all over the country are expected to participate in the courses next month, BNR reports.

The courses are led by professors from the Faculty of Pedagogy of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and from the Southwestern University "Neofit Rilski", as well as from experts in various fields.

Among the main topics of the courses are models of behavior and training for socio-emotional support of students and pedagogical specialists in times of crisis, a competency-based approach to increasing the financial and economic literacy of students, modern methods and approaches for career guidance and consulting and supervision in mentoring young teachers, inclusion, professional growth and career development.

The first training is attended by pedagogical specialists from Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Gabrovo, Kardzhali and other cities. This is the next training organized by the National Center for Improving the Qualification of Pedagogical Specialists, the Ministry of Education and Science notes.
