„For me, things turned completely upside down after the press conference of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office. In my entire 32-year career, I have never seen such a mass suicide, if any“.
This is what the former Sofia city prosecutor Nikolay Kokinov summarized to „This Morning“ on bTV.
„There have been many crimes with murders and many corpses so far, but I have never encountered such a mass thing, caused by someone who knows what, which surprises me. Most likely, the first three committed suicide. The motive for this remains unclear“, he said.
It is not clear to Kokinov why the six separated.
“Why do the other three leave, there is some strange movement with this camper and in the end on Okolchitsa it probably comes to a murder or two murders and a suicide, most likely“, commented the former city prosecutor.
“My logic is that all six were probably provoked or worried by something to reach such a result. What that something was, I cannot guess, but there is obviously some discrepancy in their expectations. Some expectation of tension, of not achieving some goal. What was the purpose, I still can't say“, admitted Nikolay Kokinov.
According to him, Buddhism as a religion does not provoke or preach violence, nor does it tolerate suicide.
„We think through the prism of the rational, and what these people thought, only they know. There are no witnesses and this gives room for all kinds of versions and theories“, Kokinov also said.
„There are many unexplained things - what kind of weapon was there, why was a permit given for it.
Why is a 15-year-old child deprived of the opportunity to get an education.
The family itself entrusted him to these people. No one at school thinks to ask why he doesn't come to school. An association is formed, two weeks later the institutions sign an agreement with this association for joint activities, which is strange to say the least. This association legitimizes itself as some kind of state body. Obviously these people have some kind of broad social environment and support“, said Kokinov.
According to him, the objective truth will be unraveled, but not the real one.
„The objective truth is the one that is based on facts, but since there are no survivors, I doubt that we could fully imagine what happened in the minds of these people“, believes the former city prosecutor.
