The decision whether to run in the first place belongs to Iliyana Yotova. And secondly: about the way and form in which she would accept support from one place or another. There is no way she will be nominated by the BSP, since she is the president and not a party member, said Valeri Zhablyanov in an interview for "Face to Face".

"Radev has never had anything to do with the BSP, but he was nominated by us," he added.

"The confrontation in our society has intensified. The rejection has intensified. It is the same outside Bulgaria. The crisis of democratic values has intensified, including in Europe, where the far right has emerged. All this has an impact. That is, the next president of Bulgaria cannot be a copy of Rumen Radev," commented Zhablyanov.

When asked whether in such a case the future head of state should be Radev's antagonist, he replied: "This will be decided by His Majesty - the Bulgarian people".
