Emil Dechev: Gyurov had given me complete freedom of action

He described the "Perohan" case as "unique and without analogues"

There are already effective sentences and imprisonment for vote buying since the last vote. This was stated to BTV by former Interior Ministry chief Emil Dechev.

"The real guarantor is not the one who offers money to voters on the street - this makes it more difficult to uncover the instigators."

"I cannot exclude colleagues from the Interior Ministry from covering up or being involved in this type of election crimes", Dechev revealed.

"No one put pressure on me, there was no way - Prime Minister Gyurov had given me complete freedom of action, I gave the same to my deputies", he added about the work of the official cabinet.

The "Perohan" case he described as "unique and without analogue".

"I have no comments on the investigation. The case is closed when the prosecutor issues a statement."
