The municipalities will receive the most money for the upcoming elections. This shows the plan-account for the organization and conduct of the vote on June 9.
Nearly BGN 53 million will be distributed to the municipalities. BGN 38 million of the amount is for the remuneration and insurance of the members of the sectional election commissions and BGN 14 million for logistical costs.
Almost BGN 8.5 million will be the expenses of the administration of the Council of Ministers for logistics and salaries of the RIC members. BGN 4.6 million are the funds for the Central Election Commission, including paper ballots, computer processing of voting data, media packages and the explanatory campaign.
The Ministry of the Interior receives a little over 15 million BGN to ensure public order, 9.3 million BGN to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the vote abroad.
A little over 2 million BGN have been set aside for the ministries of regional development and e-governance.
