Mr. Gvozdeikov is no longer part of PP-DB. To expel him from the party, he did what was necessary to lose our trust. We clearly want to distance ourselves from it. He chose to go to the office.
This was stated by MP from PP-DB Venko Sabrutev in the studio of "Day ON AIR".
In his words "the assembly" was dismantled because of the agreement that the PP-DB did not want to sign.
"I am concerned about the approach of the services. Every year before the start of elections, the same things happen - show arrests, gangs, threats. The mafia did not allow Bulgaria to make the necessary reforms. We are talking about DPS and GERB. The key question is what the Bulgarian citizens want. The power is in the people, not in the politicians. We promised the Eurozone, we promised Schengen. We are at the door of the Eurozone, and the Sofia-Paris flight is already like the Sofia-Varna flight," Sabrutev told Bulgaria ON AIR.
He explained that the job of the prosecutor's office is, if there is a crime, to defend it in court. According to him, there is no real accusation against the former secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, and he specified that he is being brought to court as a witness, not as an accused. Sabrutev is adamant that the Bulgarian services should work for the people, not for racketeering and threats.
"Bulgaria has a stable additional financial security, which makes it possible even if something cataclysmic happens in the economy - to meet it. We must recall the results during the administration of Academician Denkov - peace in the state, business worked undisturbed, incomes grew ahead of inflation. "Bulgarian citizens want a quality of life," said the MP from PP-DB.
When asked whether PP-DB will talk with GERB-SDS after the elections, Sabrutev answered that they will meet with everyone who wants to implement the reforms that PP-DB wants. According to him, GERB have retreated and escaped from these reforms.
