„Siela Norma“ will provide machine voting in the elections for members of the European Parliament and for people's representatives on June 9, the Central Election Commission (CEC) decided this, BTA reported.
The CEC announced that the company won both positions in the public procurement – for the prevention and diagnostics of the machines and their peripherals - printer and smart card reader, preparation, installation of the operating system and application software, equipment, as well as technical maintenance of the machines on pre-election and election day by location or in the relevant polling station and provision of Support Center in case of problems.
„Siela Norma“ will also be responsible for the transportation of the machines to the polling stations in the country and their logistical provision on the pre-election and post-election days.
Chairman of the CEC Kamelia Neikova must sign the contracts for the two separate positions, it is known from the commission's decision.
On April 29, the serial numbers of a total of ten voting machines that will undergo compliance verification before the upcoming “two-in-one“ randomly during a public procedure at the Ministry of e-Governance.
