Europe is philosophy, solidarity, the fulfilled dream of generations of Bulgarians who thought that our dignity, interests and belonging would provide opportunities for them and for the generations after them. I want us to have the self-confidence we deserve, but also to make the efforts that will lead to it. This is what the diplomat and former foreign minister Nadezhda Neinski told bTV, quoted by novini.bg

„Failure incomes are a function of a dysfunctional state. We have problems with the functioning of our health system, of our justice system. We need to reaffirm our geopolitical choice”, she believes.

On the traditionally low turnout in the European elections, Neinski said: “The problem is in those who are voted for – the politicians, not so much in the voting people. A person must have an opinion in order to develop his life forward, there is no way to not have an opinion about politics. The party of non-voters turned out to be the most serious party.
Regarding the participation of parties that are on the side of the aggressor, Neinski is categorical: “This carries an extreme risk. These European elections will be used by Putin to influence European policies. This influence will happen through individual parties and politicians. There are Bulgarian parties that have been tempted to include in their lists people who do not correspond with their external requests.”
