People with disabilities remained without their personal disabled spaces to park. They signaled this themselves, and the reason is the newly built bicycle lane along the “Patriarch Euthymius” Blvd., because of which the parking spaces were deleted.

According to the law and European directive, the Metropolitan Municipality is obliged to provide a personal parking space for people with disabilities, which must be as close as possible to their home.

„It is about more than 30 parking spaces. The problem is that they are blocked and we cannot park, we are clearly obstructing the bike lanes. They are located around the Patriarch, "Vitosha" Blvd., Pette Kosheta and First City Hospital. Is there no place to park, we can't get off, commented on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria" Pavel Savov, chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Recreation, Integration and Sports.

„At the moment, all disabled people who live in the center have lost their parking spaces,” said Savov. The Metropolitan Municipality explained to NOVA that there was no time to map out new parking spaces.
