A total of 40 witnesses and experts must testify in the case. Deborah Mihailova herself will be questioned only after all witnesses and experts have been heard. The case is being heard behind closed doors to keep details of Deborah's life private. At the last session on Monday, the defense of the accused Georgi Georgiev requested the recusal of the court panel because it allowed the policemen who participated in the investigation to be questioned as witnesses.
