"This resignation is the most expected thing in the left space. Unfortunately, I don't see it as a space anymore, it's very scattered. Once again, she resigns, which is not understood whether it is genuine or not, whether she takes any responsibility. On the other hand, he says that they did not make any mistake, but there is an accident. This indicates some cognitive deficits. This is not a leadership statement, but rather inappropriate for the situation.

This is how the political scientist Prof. Maria Pirgova commented on the resignation of Cornelia Ninova for "Day ON AIR".

Valeria Veleva believes that Kornelia Ninova led to a decline in the party's voters during her years in office.

"I think that there is a deep lack of awareness of the guilt of the leader who brought the party with 955 thousand voters in 7 years to 141,000. The sociologists are not to blame. BSP has a correct policy on important issues for the country. Why did 800 thousand leave in 7 years? The results are a pogrom because this obliterates left space as a structural formula. There is no audibility, so this result was reached. This resignation is overdue. There is no chance that this party, whoever comes, will elevate it", added the journalist to Bulgaria ON AIR.

"From these election results we should see many resignations. But since the parties in Bulgaria are leadership-based, if the leaders resign, the parties fall apart. There is no state responsibility, politics is lost. The political logic is lost, and the political system is broken, 70% of the citizens are not in this political system," Pirgova pointed out.

According to the journalist, in case of new elections, the damage would be even greater.

"It is mandatory that a cabinet be formed in this National Assembly, because going to another election, the pogrom will be even bigger. We have a political party that is in first place with a serious percentage lead. We have a second party that has serious influence. A government must be formed," commented Veleva.

"This parliament will be extremely harmful for Bulgaria. Given that Boyko Borisov brought the country to this situation, now we will want him to govern us so that we can be better. It's not a political thing, it's a mafia thing. Citizens should not recognize this parliament," Pirgova said.

"This parliament will be worse, weaker and more unproductive. The elections are legitimate, they are recognized by all parties. Anyway, we follow the rules of democracy. Only the new projects that will be born will be of this type of "Greatness", Veleva added.
