The All-Party Control Commission of the BSP as soon as possible, it will be decided whether Cornelia Ninova has the right to run again for chairman, according to the party's statute.
This is what the deputy chairman of the party, Christian Vigenin, told journalists in Yambol, quoted by Eurocom, when asked about the upcoming election for the new chairman of the BSP.
“There are two sides to this question. First – Does Ninova have the statutory right to run for office? The second question is – does she intend to run at all, even if she is eligible. And the third element is – does it make sense and on what basis would she run for office again, when in the last three years the result of elections has been constantly going down”, said Vigenin.
