The hottest place today is in Sandanski, where 39 degrees were measured. This is shown by the data on the website of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). In Ruse, the degrees are 38, and in Svishtov, Silistra and Knezha – 37.
In Sofia today the mercury is 34 degrees. Lower temperatures were reported by stations along the sea. In Burgas, the thermometers show 29 degrees, and in Varna – 31.
For today, NIMH announced an orange code for high temperatures throughout the country. At night it will be mostly clear and mostly quiet. Tomorrow will also be sunny and hot. It will blow weak, in the eastern areas to moderate wind from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will mostly be 35° and 40°, in Sofia - about 36°, shows the NIMH forecast for Sunday.
