Kostadin Kostadinov: These fires write the fiery obituary of Bulgaria

The leader of "Vazrazhdane" criticizes the political situation

In recent days, the political scene in Bulgaria has been shaken by the statements of the leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov. In an interview for the show "The Day ON AIR" on Bulgaria ON AIR, he categorically stated that in the current parliament, a government cannot be formed either from GERB and DPS, or against them. This statement underlines the deep political crisis in which the country finds itself.

Political Impasse

Kostadinov explained that six MPs from the former "Velichie", who remained loyal to the party's ideologist Ivelin Mihailov, will not support a government with either the second or the third mandate. This leaves the parliament with 119 MPs, making it impossible to form a stable government. "They did GERB and DPS a favor," commented Kostadinov.

The leader of "Revival" stressed that it depends only on the president when the early elections will be, but he expects them to be after mid-October. He also stated that talks were held with "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB), but these talks did not lead to concrete results. "Apparently they feel some shame when they talk to us, we didn't see that when they talked to Borisov and Peevski," commented Kostadinov.

Ukrainian aid and internal problems

One of the hottest topics in Bulgaria is aid to Ukraine. Kostadinov expressed displeasure that a new 80 million leva will be provided to Ukraine while the country struggles with fires and other internal problems. "These fires write a fiery obituary for Bulgaria," he declared.

The uncertain future of government

Kostadinov is adamant that people are not interested in elections and whether there will be a government. He emphasized that without "Revival" no stable government can exist. However, the political situation remains unclear and tense.
