Ivaylo Mirchev: Rumen Radev should say why Peevski has long been heavily guarded by the NSO

Peevski wants quick elections

“Let Rumen Radev answer why Delyan Peevski has been heavily guarded by the National Security Service, which is subordinate to the president. It was removed shortly after our action in Rosenets 4 years ago. This NSO security of Peevski was from nearly a year before the conflict with Dogan. The explanation is clearly that Peevski himself has regained his security. And here the question is, what is its influence on the NSO and on the DANS, did the DANS hypothetically receive a signal and then a decision was made to guard Peevski?”

This was stated in an interview for “The Day with Veselin Dremdzhiev” the member of the leadership of “Yes, Bulgaria” Ivaylo Mirchev.

According to Mirchev Peevski, he wants quick elections. And Hristo Ivanov already warned months ago that Peevski would go too far and he went too far, including with a bought and controlled vote he achieved the results of the DPS in the last elections, as well as with the Minister of the Interior, whom he defended from the very beginning. “With this interior minister, Peevski wants as fast as possible elections,”, said the politician.

Mirchev rejected the accusations of "Vazrazhdane" that if the APCs had not been donated to Ukraine, they could have been used to extinguish the fires. “It is not serious to put out fires high in the mountains with APCs. Nearly BGN 170 million was allocated for specialized fire fighting equipment in February by the "Denkov" cabinet, but nothing has been done so far, Mirchev said. And he reminded that these armored vehicles have so far not been used for anything, including against fires, and some of them were sold for 500-600 leva, some for 6000. “These are speculations of Kostadin Kostadinov, in order to be aid to Ukraine has been compromised, but it will not catch a wild boar”, said Ivaylo Mirchev.

He also commented on President Radev's speech from England today, in which he again mentioned the possibility of sending Bulgarian soldiers to Ukraine. “Radev and “Revival” use suggestions about Bulgarian soldiers in Ukraine, such conversations have never been held. This is a very low level in politics," said Mirchev. And he reminded that Rumen Radev is the only European president who has not yet been to Kyiv, which is very indicative of his worldview and politics.

Mirchev admits that Radev will wait for one or two more elections before deciding to join the political race himself, so that all parties can be weakened. “This will most likely lead to a presidential republic, with much more “Revival” and “Majesty”. There should be a vote, because what will come next will not please anyone, especially the people who will not come out to vote,”, warned the politician.

Ivaylo Mirchev is adamant that there are different opinions in the PP-DB, but there can be no talk of tension, because all parties in the coalition have a common cause. But as in any organization, at some point a communication problem arises. “We did not explain well why we are talking to the DPS about the changes in the constitution. There are many things that we need to change and we hope to be able to do it within the framework of the election campaign. Fortunately, half of the voters we lost did not go to vote for another party. This is not a red card, but a yellow card”, said the member of the management of “Yes, Bulgaria”.
