New villages surrounded by flames after the fiery inferno in Voden, are the fires continuing in Sharkovo and Kraynovo. The Director of the Main Directorate “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” Commissioner Alexander Jartov stated that all residents in the areas are protected with their teams.
„There is currently no danger in Krainovo. There are focused teams. We have about 10 houses that are affected by the fire,”, noted the director.
„We support teams so we can protect them. This is a major task that we carry out at night”, he pointed out and added that the speed and temperature of the fires are extremely high.
Dzhartov emphasized that if there is no wind, then the teams work efficiently. But if it starts to blow, it sets fire to the vegetation. According to him, there are many cases in which employees were at risk.
