The Metropolitan Municipal Council is meeting with doctors because of the planned merger of two medical facilities in Sofia. The talks come after doctors from the Fourth City Hospital spoke out against the decision to merge them with the Second City Hospital, Nova TV reported.

The proposal was made by the municipal councilors from GERB-SDS with the arguments that the capacity of the Fourth City Hospital is beginning to decrease, and the working staff is also decreasing.
