„According to our statute, until ascertained by Congress delegates – the highest party forum and body that can only decide and change the statute and everything else, the chairman is Cornelia Ninova, resigned. Everything else is an interpretation and a desire for power.“
This is what BSP MP Ivan Chenchev said in the Euronews Primetime studio.
According to him, Ninova has not served two terms at the head of the centenary, which means that despite the decision of the all-party control commission, she has the right to a new term as leader of the BSP.
“The Socialists will nominate her for the upcoming intra-party direct election. He was introduced by Ninova and is the most democratic thing in any party, but it seems to me that there is a fear of direct elections, probably they have found a way for him to postpone it or fail it, he commented. also Chenchev.
He pointed out that if the third mandate goes to the BSP, the party will talk to all parties represented in the parliament, but according to him, the chances of forming a regular government are almost zero.
According to Chenchev, the leader of the GERB, Boyko Borisov, is the main culprit for not having a government, because he took a narrow-party approach, putting a cabinet on the table without any time for talks, and thus once again failed to form a cabinet.
