The MC explained about the change of regional governors of Kardzhali and Smolyan

The caretaker government strictly observes the Constitution and laws of the country and categorically does not participate in internal party issues of any political force. Attempts to insinuate any partiality of the caretaker government are untenable

In connection with media inquiries regarding the appointed regional governors within the framework of yesterday's government meeting, we remind you that according to Art. 143 par. 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, regional governors are appointed by the Council of Ministers.

This was reported by the government information service, in connection with yesterday's decision of the Council of Ministers on the replacement of the regional governors of Kardzhali and Smolyan.

The caretaker government strictly abides by the Constitution and laws of the country and categorically does not participate in intra-party matters of any political force. Attempts to insinuate any partiality of the caretaker government are untenable, added the press service of the MC.
