8 luxury cars of Rumen Gaitanski-Valka are confiscated

The prosecutor's office is expected to give details about the raid on the businessman's properties

Today the prosecutor's office is expected to give details about the raid on Rumen Gaitanski's properties -Valka, no matter how it becomes clear whether charges will be brought, BNT reported.

The raids are part of the investigation into an unsecured loan of nearly BGN 150 million from the state-owned Bulgarian Development Bank. Prosecutors and officials of the Anti-Corruption Commission entered Gaitanski's properties in Sofia. There were also searches in the office of a company related to him in Kardzhali.

The prosecutor's office confirmed that the investigation is about a loan granted by the Bulgarian Development Bank, guaranteed by non-existent collateral. According to BNT, properties of the former head of the Bulgarian Development Bank Stoyan Mavrodiev were also searched.

Gaitanski's company Wolf also owns 30 luxury cars, and the court ordered the seizure of 8 of them. It is expected that the expensive vehicles will be confiscated this morning.

And according to sources of "Around the world and in our country" and Gaitanski and Mavrodiev are currently in Greece.
