The leader of " Revival" Kostadin Kostadinov demanded the resignation of the mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev. The tension was caused by the "black list", which included Varna teachers and was distributed by Kostadinov's party.
It describes the names and jobs of teachers from Varna who signed against the amendments to the Law on School and Preschool Education. The changes prohibit the promotion of non-traditional sexual orientation in educational institutions.
The publication urges parents to seek an explanation from the principals of the schools that are included in this list.
Here is Kostadinov's entire post, in which he calls on Mayor Blagomir Kotsev to resign:
"The mayor of Varna and his team are emerging as leading hardliners among the defenders of homosexual propaganda in schools and kindergartens. That doesn't surprise me. PPDB has exactly 4 municipal mayors in the country (unfortunately, Varna is among them) and it is normal for the organization that publicly defends the rights of pedophiles to also defend homosexual propaganda among children. But what's normal for the abnormal is abnormal for us normals.
It is not normal, mayor, to defend any kind of propaganda in schools. It is not normal, mayor, for your deputy for education to declare himself against the laws of the republic.
It is not normal, mayor, to protect teachers who have publicly declared their intention not to comply with the laws of Bulgaria. Nothing about your behavior, mayor, is normal. After the disastrous management of GERB, you kill Varna every day with your inept, incompetent and inadequate mayorship.
Mayor, do us all Varna residents a favor and resign! It was seen that you are up to no good and the only thing you care about is the rights of pedophiles and homosexual propaganda in schools and kindergartens. He retired from the municipality, created an NGO and made homosexual propaganda, but to his own children. You won't hang out with strangers because you'll have problems.
