They harass and threaten teachers who signed against the law against LGBTI propaganda in class

There is nothing Bulgarian about you. You are a salesman. Because of people like you, Bulgaria will fall. Instead of making signatures, think about your health, that soon you may not have it, says a message sent to the author of the signature Boris Iliev

Teachers who signed against the law against LGBTI propaganda in class are being harassed. From “Revival” threatened to sue the petitioners.

“There is nothing Bulgarian about you. You are a salesman. Bulgaria will fall because of people like you. Instead of making signatures, think about your health, that soon you may not have it”, reads a message sent to the author of the signature Boris Iliev. He is a teacher of Bulgarian language and literature. He shared that teaching is a war against ignorance, but in it not all methods are allowed. “You cannot impose on your students, including an ideological one that you share. To force them to follow him”, emphasized Iliev. According to him, there is a difference between discussing topics academically in the classroom and imposing a certain ideology in class, reports NOVA.

“Back in the 70s, the World Health Organization recognized different sexual orientations not as a deviation, but as something normal,”, stressed French language teacher Snezhana Slavcheva. According to her, the people's representatives confuse academic information with propaganda, and the changes in the law will encourage aggression against different children.
