The political system needs a restart of trust, and this can only happen if it is composed stably government after the elections.

This was said by Vice President Iliyana Yotova, quoted by BNT, who commented on the future parliamentary vote. According to her, there are two main tasks before the politicians, one is for the caretaker government to hold fair and transparent elections, and the second is for the parliamentary parties to form a regular cabinet.

The vice president also commented on the possibility of the possible change of the electoral system in our country:

"I very much hope that the registration and documentation marathon is over and from tomorrow the political formations and political parties, which by this evening must receive their registrations, will start the real election campaign, in which we Bulgarian citizens can hear what they they offer us. I'm not sure our systems are the problem. The problem is in the political formations, in what they offer, promise and what they do afterwards. Because people can forgive wrong policies and not so good policies, but then when they are lied to in their eyes and before elections they promise that they will not enter into one or another collaboration, but they do. Whatever system we devise, it will serve no purpose."
