I am impressed , that I received an answer from Asen Vassilev. I've been exposing his lies and manipulations for a whole month - nothing. Today /b.r. last night/ I got not only a response but a media campaign as if I had hit a spot where it really hurts. Hristo Gadjev from GERB wrote this on Facebook, FOCUS reported.
"But what Asen Vassilev didn't say:
Not a word about the testimony about receiving bribes from him and Boyko Rashkov.
Not a word about the canals in the customs and the umbrella he stretched over them.
Not a word about the personnel bacchanalia, just let the "correct" contraband
And what did you save in the answer:
1. The Customs Agency (AM) opens the procedure on 17.08.23. Two out of three participants appeal. It is interesting to understand their motives, but the main thing is that the procedure does not guarantee equality, free competition and limits participation, giving an unjustified advantage to some entities over others.
2. With decision 1077/26.10.23, the CPC agrees with the arguments that the procedure is rigged and declares it illegal.
3. This does not stop AM, who are appealing the decision of the CPC.
4. On 16.01.24, the SAC confirmed the decision of the CPC.
I.e. the whole procedure, which Asen Vassilev boasts about, was canceled by the court as vicious and illegal.
And here the additional questions begin:
Has a consultant been contracted pro bono to write the rules for this vicious procedure?
If there was, is it related to any of the potential suppliers?
What is the MF/AM rule from 01/16/24 to 04/10/24?
A closed procedure is organized between 3 and 6 months. Who has approved moving to this approach?
I doubt I will hear these and the above questions from the media, so I will ask them to the MoF.
