Between 350-370 mln. The engineering project, which within a year must make an assessment, prepare a plan and estimate the construction of Block VII of the "Kozloduy" NPP, costs $100,000.

"Hundreds of people will work for this one year. Part of the projects must be agreed, signed and printed by Bulgarian designers and engineers. Most of the work will be done in South Korea and in the States, but those finished projects that are made there, someone has to authorize them in Bulgaria.

This is what energy expert Yavor Kuyumdzhiev said in "Day ON AIR".

He defined the amount as reasonable: "As a final result of this process, a neat system of projects should come out - what, when, how it will happen.

"At this point, no one can count it. The construction of a nuclear power plant is a project that will be valid for 10 years from the first sod. When construction begins, the production of the so-called units with a long production cycle - the reactors, steam generators and other systems that can take four to five years to build," the expert explained to Bulgaria ON AIR.

According to Kuyumdzhiev, the Koreans never built American technology, i.e. here they will learn how to implement American technology in a nuclear power plant.

"The Koreans have many blocks built outside of Korea, but with their technology. In any case, we must do it, because if we don't do it, in the next 15-20 years, we will find ourselves at the end of the 40s of this century without thermal power plants and without the V and VI blocks of "Kozloduy". We won't have any electricity at any price," he thinks.
