Association "Parents": The discipline assessment is a rather outdated measure

"In the classroom, one of the major deficits is the lack of harmony and rules. Young people have difficulties in school because of aggression," said Dr. Yulian Petrov from the "Educated" trade union at the "Podkrepa" trade union

The "Education" trade union proposes several changes that affect students. Referring to its own research, the trade union is discussing the idea that students with "very good" results from the last three years of secondary education should not take matriculation exams upon graduation. And if a child has a deficit in their knowledge in the first grade, they should repeat the grade.
The discipline assessment is a rather outdated measure that is not adequate to modern times. There are very good models in which teachers manage to find an approach to influence students' behavior," commented Zornitsa Trifonova from the "Parents" Association in the "Social Network" program on NOVA NEWS.
"In the classroom, one of the major deficits is the lack of harmony and rules. Young people have difficulties in school because of aggression," said Dr. Yulian Petrov from the "Educated" union at the "Podkrepa" trade union.

According to Trifonova, there is not enough information about what exactly the classes on virtues and religions will be.

"Religion is a value system that if a person does not have - falls into the trap of disbelief," said Dr. Petrov.
