The metro in Sofia will not stop moving. This was assured by the Sofia Metropolitan.
They added that additional trains will be launched on the four lines today as well.
By 9:30 a.m., the interval on lines 1 and 4 will be reduced to under 3 minutes in the section between the "Slivnitsa" and "Mladost 1" metro stations and under 6 minutes in the sections "Mladost 1" – "Business Park" and "Mladost 1" – "Sofia Airport".
From 09:30 to 16:30 the interval will be reduced to below 4.30 min. in the section MS "Slivnitsa" - MS "Mladost 1" and below 9 min. in the sections MS "Mladost 1" – MS "Business Park" and MS "Mladost 1" – MS "Sofia Airport".
On Line 2 the interval will be reduced to below 6 min. in the morning rush hour and below 9 min. for the time 09:30 - 16:30.
Until 09:30 the interval on Line 3 will be reduced to below 4.30 min., and from 09.30 a.m. to 16.30 p.m. the interval on Line 3 will be below 6 min.
