„The DPS headquarters of „Alexander Stamboliyski“ is a symbol of the movement. Hundreds of Bulgarian citizens who shared the values of the DPS have passed through it. We believe that in this case it is more about political motives and political arguments than legal ones. We have a long-term contract with the regional government for the use of this building. We have even received an invoice for the month of May and have paid the rent due“.
This was explained in „This Morning“ on bTV Hasan Ademov, MP from the DPS-DPS and Chairman of the Committee on Demographic Policy, Children and Family in the National Assembly - when asked why the state had to forcibly seal the building they used as a party headquarters.
„We believe that the Supreme Administrative Court should rule in this case. The Administrative Court in Sofia-city has not considered the merits of our request and has ordered the regional governor to vacate the headquarters“, he also pointed out.
According to him, a letter was received at the headquarters in early May, and an order was received later.
„Meanwhile, we have also submitted a request to the Prime Minister with the signatures of all representatives of our parliamentary group. We have requested a meeting with the Council of Ministers,“ the MP pointed out.
From his comments it became clear that a meeting with the Prime Minister has not yet been arranged, and that nothing has been offered to them.
“We believe… we have a reasonable assumption that in this case it is an organized, targeted, consistently conducted punitive action – with the participation of state institutions, with the aim of discrediting and publicly humiliating the MRF. Due to the fact that we left the ruling majority and shed light on the participation of “New Beginning“ in this governing coalition,“ Hasan Ademov pointed out.
“It is difficult for us to name a specific executor of this punitive action, but we assume that the ideologist is “New Beginning“ with their leader Delyan Peevski“, the MP noted.
According to him, there are already enough serious arguments in the public space to support the thesis that he governs the Council of Ministers.
“Regardless of whether we will be in this building, or on the street, or in homes, in apartments - no one can break the spirit of the MRF“, Hasan Ademov pointed out.
