The Sofia City Court is sitting on the case against the chairman of MECH Radostin Vassilev. He is accused of trying to put pressure on the MP from the ITN Hristinka Ivanova.

The case against Vassilev was initiated due to the scandal in the 47th National Assembly, when the MP was part of the ITN. After the split of the group, he was accused by his colleagues of forcing MP Hristinka Ivanova to leave the party and parliament.
At that time, ITN also published a recording in which Vassilev persuades Ivanova to follow him and other breakaway members from the group of Slavi Trifonov's party, but she refuses.
