A man has first-degree burns after a gas cylinder exploded in an apartment in Haskovo. A report about the incident in an apartment building in the "Orpheus" district was filed last night at 9:32 p.m. in the Haskovo district police station, the press center of the Ministry of Interior announced.
Rescue teams were sent to the scene and found that the cylinder detonated when the 70-year-old owner of the apartment tried to turn on his stove. The explosion knocked out the window frames on the terrace, which fell to the ground from the eighth floor. The injured homeowner was examined at the regional hospital, treated and released for home treatment. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
