Zoya Tsvetkova is the new mayor of Malo Selo, Bobov Dol municipality, FOKUS reported.
The Municipal Election Commission announced the results of the second round of the partial election for mayor of the city hall. Zoya Tsvetkova, nominated by VMRO - Bulgarian National Movement, received 71 of the actual votes.
Mariana Ivanova, nominated by the GERB Party, received 44 votes, and Plamen Borisov, nominated by the "Ima takvi narod" Party, collected 32 votes.
"On the basis of Art. 87, para. 1, item 1, item 26 in connection with Art. 452, para. 6 of the EC and based on the data received from the protocol of SIC 100400010, MEC-Bobov dol announces elected mayor of the village of Malo selo Zoya Simeonova Tsvetkova, who received 71 valid votes,“ says the decision of the MEC - Bobov dol. The Commission also instructs to issue the relevant certificate to the winning candidate.
