A Sofia budget meeting will be held today at the Sofia Municipal Council. Mayor Vasil Terziev invited representatives of all political forces from the local parliament to it. The reason - the returned Terziev plan - the capital's account.
This has come to this point after Vasil Terziev returned the voted budget of Sofia, justifying that it is inappropriate and lacks balance. At the end of last week, the individual meetings of Terziev and his deputies with the political groups of the Sofia Municipal Council ended.
The municipality's leadership has presented an analysis of the proposals that were included in the initial version of the budget submitted by the mayor of the Sofia Municipality and an analysis of the proposals by the municipal councilors that were voted on.
The budget will be reviewed at the regular meeting of the Municipal Council on June 26.
