The investigation into the death of 6-year-old Angel Raichev has been ongoing for over three months. The child died after being given full anesthesia during a dental operation in a Plovdiv clinic.
In front of the bTV camera for the first time, the manager of the hospital facility stood face to face with the child's mother.
"For us, life is already ruined and we have to live by force in order to raise the child we have left. I quit my job because he is having crises and doesn't want to go to kindergarten. "I'm taking him to psychologists," says the mother of the deceased child - Magdalena Raicheva.
Her 6-year-old son died during a general anesthesia during dental surgery.
For the first time, the manager of the hospital comes face to face with her. Dr. Dinko Mladenov is without a larynx and uses an assistant translator to speak.
"You didn't say that a vaccine was given. You didn't say that there was an illness, you snot. If this had been known, Dr. Plamen Mandev would not have undertaken the anesthesia", said Dr. Dinko Mladenov, manager of "Medicus Alpha".
"Mandev was warned that Angel had been vaccinated. And they said it was no problem," said Georgi Raichev, the father of the deceased child.
On June 3, the prosecutor's office filed charges against anesthesiologist Plamen Mandev for prescribing a larger than necessary dose of one of the medications. Today, the doctor continues to go to work.
