The attendees, including the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov and the Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov, will observe the performance of various episodes of the exercise at sea.

18 combat and auxiliary ships and boats, 4 aircraft, 2 helicopters and over 1,500 military personnel from the armed forces of Bulgaria, Albania, Belgium, Great Britain, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the USA, Turkey, France, as well as from the NATO Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM), the Black Sea Mine Countermeasures Group (MCM Black Sea) and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).

On July 15, the Commander of the Navy (Navy), Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov, announced that during the exercise, the naval tactical group for special operations will be certified according to NATO standards.

He specified that the certification will be carried out by a group of the NATO and Navy joint command. The certification process is monitored by NATO representatives from the alliance's special forces command.

The Naval Forces (Navy) Headquarters in Varna announced that the crews of the ships participating in “Breeze 2025“ are training in receiving and transferring liquid and solid cargo at sea, towing a damaged ship, as well as mine countermeasures.

Episodes are being practiced to reflect enemy air attacks, tactical maneuvering and escorting a ship with a particularly valuable cargo.

The joint work of Bulgarian, Dutch and American divers continues, who survey pre-designated areas with underwater drones.

A training session was also held to overcome an incident with a merchant ship at sea.
