Car access in front of Terminal 2 at Vasil Levski Airport is being closed

The expansion joints on the overpass will be replaced

A temporary traffic organization is being introduced in front of Terminal 2, announced by „Vasil Levski“ – Sofia Airport, dariknews.bg reported.

The reason is that from today until August 23, 2025, the expansion joints on the overpass to Terminal 2 at „Vasil Levski“ – Sofia Airport will be replaced.

During this period, car access in front of the terminal building is prohibited. The Kiss & Ride zone has been temporarily moved to the end lane before the exit barriers.

Parking on the roadway between parking lot P4 and the temporary zone is prohibited. Public transport and inter-terminal buses will pass normally in front of the terminal. All parking lots (P3, P4, P5, P8) are open for use. The conditions for staying in the temporary zone remain the same: 10 minutes free of charge for every 60 minutes.

Additional staff will assist on site. For vehicles with special traffic regimes - ambulances, fire and police cars, access to the terminal building is provided. Vehicles carrying people with limited mobility will be allowed to the terminal, informed the capital airport.

The airport urged drivers to allow more time, follow the signs and obey the road signs.
