“He is not in contact, he is not making sounds. He is still breathing spontaneously and we are following a conservative treatment plan. His 35-year-old mother Hristina remains brain dead, which according to doctors is an irreversible condition.

“Yesterday we were with her, the situation is the same. We are in God's hands“, added Yordan Sokolov, Hrisi's father.
A psychologist is already working with the older child of the family. The boy keeps asking about his mother and brother, relatives say.
“Last night when we returned from the hospital, he asked us “Did you see mom, what did the doctor say“, said Zlatka Sokolova.
At the request of relatives and after an order from the Minister of the Interior, the Ministry of Internal Affairs began a second investigation into the actions of the police officers in the fatal incident.
