The prosecutor's office in Ruse is expected to ask for custody for the three arrested men found involved in a fraudulent property scheme, reported BNT.

One of them was found to be a police officer.

Three other of his colleagues are also being investigated for possible involvement in suspicious transfers of property to deceased people without heirs. The criminal group committed five property frauds. For a fee, the 47-year-old policeman exported data from the information arrays of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about property owners who died 20 years ago. The transactions were confessed to various notaries who, according to the prosecutor's office, were not involved in the criminal scheme.
