Over 80 drug dealers and their clients were detained in Sofia in the last week , reported the Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR).
They also seized a large amount of drugs. In connection with the distribution of drugs in Sofia, a series of specialized operations are being carried out and are planned.
The SDVR adds that the employees of the “Narcotics” and the regional administrations are making efforts every day to stop this criminal activity.
We remind you that according to the analysis of the Specialized Interdepartmental Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office, there were 432 pre-trial proceedings initiated in the country for crimes related to the production, possession and distribution of drugs in the period July 1-31.
514 specialized police operations took place, and 949 people were detained.
