German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful said today that talks in Geneva between the United States and Ukraine on adjusting the US 28-point peace plan for Ukraine were a "decisive success" for Europe, Reuters reported, BTA reports.
According to Wadeful on Deutschlandfunk radio, all issues affecting Europe and NATO have been removed from the plan - a development he described as a significant achievement since the previous day.
The minister stressed that from the very beginning Germany had stated its position that no agreement could be reached without the participation of Europe and Ukraine, and again emphasized the importance of this principle.
