White House spokesman: Russian attack on Poltava demonstrates Putin's brutality

A White House spokesman expressed his horror at the Russian attack on Poltava and emphasized the ruthless nature of Putin's actions, Reuters and BTA report.

The attack is “another horrifying reminder of Putin’s brutality against the people of Ukraine,” White House National Security Adviser John Kirby told reporters, adding that the US would send more military aid to Kiev in the coming weeks , quoted by CBS news.

The White House condemned the deadly strike, saying it showed the need to urgently strengthen Kiev's air defenses.
