Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation that will participate in the upcoming talks with Russia in Istanbul, the BBC reports, News.bg reports.
As in the previous two rounds, the delegation will be led by Rustem Umerov, who recently resigned from the post of Defense Minister and took over the leadership of the National Security Council of Ukraine.
According to Zelensky's decree, the delegation includes 14 representatives, including:
Olexander Bevz – advisor to the presidential administration
Yevgeny Ostryansky – deputy chief of the General Staff
Vadim Skibitsky – deputy chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate
Alexander Dyakov – deputy chief of the Naval Forces
Alexander Poklad – deputy chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine
Sergiy Kislytsa – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
The talks are expected to take place on Wednesday evening, but the exact time and date have not yet been officially confirmed.
