The new version of Volvo's premium family crossover, codenamed XC90 and equipped with internal combustion engines, will be produced in parallel with the electric Volvo EX90, which we have already tested and for which we will tell you let's tell it very briefly.
The XC90 will be refreshed and officially unveiled tomorrow, September 4, but we already have information and photos of the model. It is evident from them that the new Volvo XC90 features a changed front end.
It gets a new enlarged radiator grille with a diagonal pattern and slimmer LED headlights in the spirit of the Volvo EX90 electric crossover. At the rear, the updated lights are also eye-catching. In addition, the bumpers of the car were also replaced.
The interior of the Volvo XC90 2025 has changed less. We see a slightly slightly changed steering wheel and an updated center console with an enlarged portrait touchscreen. Following the new electric flagship EX90, the XC90 crossover will receive a new multimedia system on the Google platform.
Otherwise, as before, the model will be offered in versions for 6 and 7 seats. From now on, all Volvo XC90 crossovers will be hybrid, and exclusively with gasoline engines, since the Swedish automaker has already completely abandoned diesel units.
The engine lineup will include mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids with 2.0-liter gasoline turbo four-cylinder engines. We remind you that currently the power of the hybrid units of the Volvo XC90 reaches 455 hp.
