One in four employees already uses neural networks in their workplace, while 60% of employers expect their employees to have basic skills in working with AI.

The majority of employers (60%) expect employees to have basic skills in working with AI: searching for information and ideas using ChatGPT, GigaChat, DeepSeek and other services". Other priority requirements include data analysis, rapid optimization and visual content creation. “Also, 23% of organizations expect specialists to be able to automate code creation and advertising campaigns using neural networks“, the study concludes.

Nearly 25% of employers surveyed said they will soon start assessing employees and candidates for proficiency in neural networks. The surveyed executives concluded that AI competencies already provide advantages to specialists in certain professions and in the next 2-3 years could become a leading skill across all industries.

Companies expect employees to combine expert skills - creativity, critical thinking, communication - with basic AI literacy: the ability to formulate a problem for a model, validate its results and correctly interpret the results.“ Currently, 65% of employers pay attention to AI skills in candidates' resumes, although only 6% currently consider them an important factor in making a decision“, noted HR heads of departments in large companies.

Employees also indicate that they use AI technologies to perform work tasks: 26% regularly and 35% periodically. These technologies are most often used by specialists in the field of art, information technology, senior and middle management, as well as advertising and PR. For 18% of respondents, neural networks are not yet applicable in their field. They are used extremely rarely in the retail and HoReCa sectors.

However, those who use artificial intelligence technologies point out the following advantages: accelerated task completion (67%), time saving (63%), confident application of new technologies (35%) and improved performance of duties (33%). Only 10% do not see any benefits from using neural networks.

„AI is a tool that improves expertise and currently works as a junior assistant." Over 80% of companies have a positive attitude towards the use of neural networks by their employees. „According to our experience, the use of artificial intelligence in IT doubles the quality and speed of work“, experts add.

However, employers also note disadvantages in the use of neural networks by employees. For example, a third of managers are concerned that employees will stop learning and developing professionally. Another 24% note that employees offer little creativity and are less likely to seek innovative solutions to problems. Some respondents note that subordinates make more mistakes at work or are simply lazy and distracted by personal matters. Employees themselves note difficulties in writing proposals and dependence on neural networks (20%). Companies already rely on neural networks for marketing and creative tasks (41%), as well as for routine processes related to translation, writing and documentation (39%). Artificial intelligence is also used to optimize design, analysis and development processes. Employers would prefer to outsource most of these tasks. “turnkey“ AI services.

In 34% of companies, AI skills have become mandatory for marketers, PR and SMM specialists. 27% of respondents consider them when hiring copywriters and content managers, and 26% consider them when hiring data analysts.
